The Retirees Organisation SWISSAIR Zürich (PVSR), founded in 1973,
is open to the former employees of the former SWISSAIR airline and respectively the SairGroup.
Its goals are the following:
- To contribute to a sensible organisation of their retirement and to promote
friendly relations by organising social gatherings and activities like bus excursions,
walking-tours, cultural events, etc.
- To represent the interests of its approximately 3000 members towards the pension fund and Swiss when needs arise
- To support the efforts of organisations whose goals are the up-keeping of Swissair's legacy
- To inform the members by publishing a newspaper (SWISSAIR-NEWS) addressing topics worth knowing, Swissair relevant events,
reminiscences, as well as internal matters.
(This quarterly newspaper can also be subscribed to by non-members.
